This half day tour starts leisurely by cycling along country roads to see the peaceful local Vietnamese rural life first hand. There will be many photo opportunities. As well as the stunning countryside, the water buffalo working in a rice paddy fields are always a portrait waiting to be taken. Watch out for the ducks swimming along the rice farm and of course, the farmers tending their crops. The photo opportunities are endless. And of course, as you travel along, you will be greeted by the natural friendliness of the local people.
We then head for the river to board our Hoi An Eco-Tour boat for a river cruise to meet and engage with local fishermen. You will be invited to participate in the traditional fishing with nets. You can also try your hand at paddling the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat while exploring the coconut-palm flanked waterways. This tour provides you with a cultural window that exposes you to the ways of life for both the farming and fishing communities. After our time with the fishermen, we say our farewells and head back to town.
