The tour starts amidst the hustle and bustle of the commercial city of Ho Chi Minh. After a brief stop to enjoy the city, you will head for the Central Mountains where you can embrace the peace and tranquility while enjoying the dramatic and truly lovely scenery.

Your destination is the French hill town of Da Lat (known as the City of Love). Here you can wander around the lake and travel deeper into the mountains to see the spectacular waterfalls.

After a refreshing time in the clear mountain air, you can look forward to embracing the equally clear ( but warmer) air of the premier seaside town of Vietnam, Nha Trang. En route you will visit the ancient Hindu site of My Son. My Son dates back to the 4th C AD and was part of the Champa dynasty. Despite serious bomb damage during the American war, it is an exciting and atmospheric site to visit.

Nha Trang Bay is classified as one of the most beautiful bays in the world with boasting clean beaches, clear turquoise waters and colorful sea life.

'Embrace the Mountains and Beaches of Central Vietnam' is a six-day trip of relaxation with some city excitement and a dabble of history. If your time is limited and your focus is primarily on relaxing in beautiful surroundings ( and improving your tan), this trip is just perfect!

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Da Lat

From Ho Chi Minh City, we drive north to Da Lat, located at an altitude of 1,500m in the Central Highlands. The French established Da Lat during their occupation of the country as a summer retreat to escape the hot and humid summer months of the low lands. In true French style, it is also known as the ‘City of Love’….oh la la! We stop en route to view the coffee and tea plantation in Bao Loc arriving in Da Lat in the afternoon. You can wander around the local market selling magnificent fruit and vegetables on display, visit the Old Railway Station, Long Bien Cathedral or just marvel at the beautiful surrounding landscapes.

Afterwards we visit the engaging Valley of Love, Tuyen Lam Lake, and Truc Lam Zen Monastery. You will also have the great opportunity to go sightseeing around Xuan Huong Lake, a peaceful and harmonious place to sit and take in the atmosphere of this lovely mountain town. Dinner is at a local restaurant.
