Quang Binh

Arguably the most attractive Province in Vietnam, Quang Binh stretches from the South China Sea in the East to Laos in the West with 85% of the area covered in mountainous regions. The narrowest part is just 40 km. It is largely undeveloped with few large towns. The gem of Quang Binh is in the unspoilt countryside, the magnificent caves and the forests that afford interesting trekking and intriguing history given the fact that a significant part of the Ho Chi Minh trail travelled through the province. If you want to get off the beaten track of popular tourism and enjoy unspoilt and varied countryside, Quang Binh is a must.

Getting there: Bus or car from Da Nang, Vinh or Hanoi.
