Da Lat

Set in the beautiful Central Highlands, this quiet town basks in cool, fresh mountain air where the temperature hovers around 20 degrees centigrade (68F). You can enjoy walking in and around this old French town enjoying the stunning scenery and some of the best preserved French colonial architecture in Indochina. Going further afield will delight the trekkers and bikers among you. If you are feeling adventurous but less energetic a local motorbike driver will be take you on a tour of the area to see the pine covered mountains, organic farms and coffee plantations.

Getting there: Da Lat has a small domestic airport, just 45 minutes flight from Ho Chi Minh or 1 hr 40 minutes from Ha Noi.
